Google Chrome Task Manager

Chrome browser has its own built-in task manager. You can open task manager dialog by keyboard shortcut Ctrl-Esc or Go to Main Menu > More Tools > Select Task Manager.

The task manager lists the following:

- Website opened in each Tab
- Plugins or Apps running in back ground.



Chrome task manager is very handy to shut down non-responding website. Select the tab which is not responding and click on 'End Process' button to shut it down. In addition, it also shows you memory used by each browser process.

You can right click within the task manager window and choose any one of the categories you'd like to view. e.g. CSS cache category information is quite helpful and convenient.
